Prof. Choi has been serving as the

The project team has organized a series of activities in association with the Education Bureau to promote mathematical modelling for teachers and students in secondary schools in Hong Kong:

Mathematical Modelling Workshops for Secondary School Teachers 2024/25 (with over 200 teacher participants)

Mathematical Modelling Workshops for Secondary School Students 2024/25 (with over 380 junior and senior secondary student participants)

Mathematical Modelling Competition for Secondary Students (MMCSS) 2024/25 (with over 700 junior and senior secondary student participants)

The 1st Hong Kong-Shanghai Mathematical Modelling Competition for Secondary Students (HSMMC)
(The event has been highlighted by the Secretary for Education [see 1 and 2] and featured in media outlets including HKTKWW and Dot Dot News.)

teaching and learning resources and
interactive IT tools for teachers and students to experience mathematical modelling.
